I greatly admire Clayton Christensen, and his "Jobs to be done" marketing philosophy has significantly influenced my personal approach to leadership. Just as consumers "hire" products to fulfill specific needs, I believe employees "hire" businesses to meet financial obligations and address the various responsibilities associated with being an employer. Among an organization's many stakeholders, employees stand as its most vital "customers."
